MORE FREE Resources!

In my last Lighthouse Therapy blog, I sent out resources specific to reading comprehension and literacy.  This time I am providing a more eclectic mix.  The first one is an amazing site with hundreds of links for materials, several specifically related to speech-language therapy, but quite a few sections could be used for any type of therapy. There are indexed sections on IEPs, teasing, interactive sites, reproducibles to name a few.  The site was created and is maintained by Judith Maginnis Kuster, who is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist and an emeritus professor in the Department of Speech, Hearing, and Rehabilitation Services at Minnesota State University, Mankato.  If you are unaware of this site, you are in for a real treat!

The rest of the links I have provided contain activities related to vocabulary, pragmatics, syntax and grammar, following directions, articulation, study skills, worksheet resources, and parent handouts. As in my previous post, all the resources linked here are free.

“An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest.”― Benjamin Franklin.  As we move toward a break for the holidays, I pray you will find something here that can help you to address a difficult concept or present material in a new and fresh way the will engage your students in 2019.
