Comprehensive Tech Support
At Lighthouse Therapy, we understand that technology can sometimes be challenging. That’s why we offer multiple avenues of support:
- Tech Help Sheet: We provide a comprehensive guide with frequently asked questions, perfect for quick troubleshooting.
- Live Tech Support: Available Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 8 PM Eastern Standard Time, our tech team can assist therapists, students, parents, and school staff.
- Zoom Assistance: Our tech support can join your Zoom session to help resolve issues in real-time.
- Google Chat: We have a dedicated tech support chat group for instant help.
- Phone Support: Call 888-642-0994, option 1, for immediate assistance.
- Email Support: Reach out to tech@lighthousetherapy.com for help, including the ability to send screenshots of issues.
Our Platform: Zoom for Healthcare
As of June 2024, Lighthouse Therapy uses Zoom for Healthcare to deliver our teletherapy services. We chose this platform for several reasons:
- HIPAA and FERPA compliant
- User-friendly interface familiar to most clients
- Reliable performance with fewer technical issues
- Versatile features including screen sharing and mouse control sharing
- Compatibility with iPads for using therapy apps
While Zoom may not have some of the proprietary features of other platforms, we find its simplicity and reliability to be major advantages. It allows our therapists to use their own materials, which they can easily transfer between different work settings or take with them if they move on.
