Position Overview

Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist looking for flexibility without sacrificing the impact you make? We are seeking a dedicated, Texas-licensed SLP to join our team for the upcoming school year.

In this role, you will provide high-quality teletherapy services to a diverse student caseload across rural school districts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct Therapy: Deliver engaging, evidence-based virtual speech and language therapy sessions to students (PreK-12) based on their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

  • Assessments & Evaluations: Administer, score, and interpret standardized speech and language assessments remotely to determine eligibility for services.

  • IEP Management: Write legally defensible IEP goals, facilitate or participate in virtual IEP meetings, and maintain meticulous compliance with Texas Department of Education guidelines.

  • Collaboration: Partner virtually with multidisciplinary teams, general education teachers, school psychologists, and parents to support student success.

  • Documentation: Track student progress diligently, maintain daily session logs, and complete Medicaid billing documentation as required by the school.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.

  • Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.

  • Licensure: * Active (or eligible for) Texas State SLP License.

  • Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of school-based experience preferred. Prior teletherapy experience is a plus, but tech-savviness and adaptability are a must.

  • Technical Setup: Reliable high-speed internet, a private/quiet workspace compliant with HIPAA/FERPA privacy standards, and a computer with a functional webcam and microphone.

What We Offer

  • Excellent Work-Life Balance: A flexible schedule that you can set within the school week.

  • Technical Support: Access to user-friendly teletherapy platforms, digital assessment toolkits, and ongoing technical troubleshooting.

  • Community Impact: The opportunity to bring vital therapy services to underserved or rural Texas student populations.
